Sounds Open Eight-Game Homestand On Thursday
Fireworks, Giveaways, and Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS® Concert Highlight Homestand

The Nashville Sounds return home to Greer Stadium this Friday, July 13, to open an eight-game homestand against the Albuquerque Isotopes (Dodgers affiliate) and Round Rock Express (Rangers affiliate).

Highlighting the homestand's worth of promotions will be two fireworks shows, a youth jersey giveaway, Richard Sterban of the Oak Ridge Boys bobblehead giveaway, and a Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS® concert.

Thursday, July 12 vs. Albuquerque @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open @ 6:05 p.m.)
The homestand opens with the first of two Taco Bell Throwback Thursdays. Sounds players will be wearing retro 1980s-style uniforms while fans enjoy concession stands filled with discounted pricing, including $2 beer, $2 soft drinks, $2 hot dogs, $2 popcorn, and $2 nachos. Beer sales will conclude at the end of the 6th inning, while Slugger's Sports Bar will sell until the end of the game. College students receive one (1) $5 General Admission ticket with a college ID and all fans receive one (1) $5 General Admission ticket with a valid Taco Bell® receipt.

Friday, July 13 vs. Albuquerque @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open @ 6:05 p.m.)
On Friday the 13th, it's Summer Fun with Shrek & Friends Night at Greer Stadium, presented by Gaylord Opryland Resort. Meet and greet Puss In Boots, Madgascar's King Julien, and your favorite ogre Shrek. We will also have swamp juice, ogre ears, face painting, balloon artists, and more. Postgame fireworks will follow the action on the field.

Also on Friday, the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville and the Sounds have teamed up to promote the United Way's Days of Action 'Stuff the Bus Campaign.' Fans are encouraged to bring school supplies to the game, which will be distributed throughout the community to help local students succeed. The first 100 fans to make such a donation will receive a t-shirt for their support of the program.

Saturday, July 14 vs. Albuquerque @ 6:05 p.m. - Doubleheader (Gates Open @ 4:35 p.m.)
Prior to Saturday's doubleheader consisting of two-seven inning games, musical artist MIKESCHAIR will perform a Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS® pregame concert on the plaza stage near the first-base entrance approximately one hour before the first pitch. The first 1,000 kids ages 12 and under through the gates at Greer will receive a Youth Sounds jersey, courtesy of McDonald's. Combined with postgame fireworks, courtesy of Nashville's NEWS 2, Saturday is another action-packed night with the Nashville Sounds.

Sunday, July 15 vs. Albuquerque @ 5:05 p.m. - Doubleheader (Gates Open @ 4:05 p.m.)
The family-friendly Faith & Family Sunday will occur for Sunday evening's doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games with the Isotopes. Fans receive half off of reserved or general admission tickets when a church or community bulletin is displayed at the box office. Limit eight tickets per bulletin and only redeemable on the day of game.

Monday, July 16 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open @ 6:05 p.m.)
The Round Rock Express visit Music City for Monday night's contest as the Sounds continue their homestand. It will be Dollar Hot Dog Night, where hot dogs will be only $1 at concession stands all night long.

Tuesday, July 17 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open @ 6:05 p.m.)
For Tuesday night's game contest with the Express, it will be Tornados Tuesday 2-For-1 Tickets. Fans can bring a receipt with proof of Tornado snack food purchase to the Sounds box office and receive two tickets for the price of one. Gates open at 6:05 p.m.

Wednesday, July 18 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open @ 6:05 p.m.)
Wednesday night's contest marks the return of #WebWednesday. Sounds email newsletter subscribers and social media followers will receive the "Steal Of The Week" at Greer Stadium for Wednesday games, while fans also receive other social media ticket opportunities and ticket discounts.

Also occurring is Music Industry Wednesday, geared towards the industry that gives Nashville its most well known nickname, "Music City." Music industry professionals can purchase a Buy One, Get One Free reserved ticket by presenting a Lam, business card, CD, press kit, or pay stub. An exclusive Happy Hour special of $2.00 12oz. domestic drafts from 6:05 - 7:05 p.m. will be available by the Sounds Stage near the main entrance while the Kimberly Wolff Band performs a pregame concert.

Thursday, July 19 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open @ 6:05 p.m.)
The homestand concludes on Taco Bell Throwback Thursday when the first of three bobblehead giveaway nights in 2012 will occur. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Richard Sterban Bobblehead, as the Sounds highlight the Grammy-award winning Oak Ridge Boys singer and official Sounds Ambassador. Sterban - a longtime season ticket holder, attending home and/or road games whenever the Oak Ridge Boys tour schedule allows - was a minority owner from team inception until 2008.

Sounds players will be wearing retro 1980s-style uniforms while fans enjoy concession stands filled with discounted pricing, such as $2 beer, $2 soft drinks, $2 hot dogs, $2 popcorn, and $2 nachos. Beer sales will conclude at the end of the 6th inning, while Slugger's Sports Bar will sell until the end of the game. College students receive one (1) $5 General Admission ticket with a college ID and all fans receive one (1) $5 General Admission ticket with a valid Taco Bell® receipt.

A collection drive will also be held at the ballpark and fans are invited to bring new and used baseball equipment for all ages benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee.

Following the homestand, Nashville will embark upon a four-game series at New Orleans (Marlins affiliate) before returning home on Tuesday, July 24, to host an eight-game homestand against the cross-state rival Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals affiliate) and Albuquerque.
